Fish Curry Rice

FCR is well established with a well-deserved reputation as a brand. The place is simple and modest. I loved the ambience and its character with functional decor, I felt far away from the outside world when I was in here. The staff are excellent and take you carefully through the menu. I took waiters recommendation and had the fish thali, a lot of food and tasty. The food quality, presentation and taste was clearly above average. service is excellent, seafood and fresh fish of the best quality. Considering some serious competition in Thane. The reason it doesn't get too excellent (5 star) is because I don't think the food is necessarily good value. I thought it was a bit overpriced. But a good experience and very good food.

We had a really good time here. They begin with complementary kokum sharbat, which was very refreshing. They have a pretty good menu: we ordered the tisrya (shellfish)- surmai thali, bombil thecha fry, and kharvas. The quantities are pretty good and the food is fresh and authentic! We were so into it that I forgot to click photos of the food!

Had a great experience here, we had ordered a special fish thali which was around 700/-. The prices are pretty steep but the food preparation,the quality and the quantity of the food is really very good. I was really surprised that such a restaurant isn't known to many people. Their preparation is not malvani but goan (Saraswat), my go to dish would be pomfret thali/pomfret thali/bombil thali. Overall, my experience was good but I still feel that 700/- bucks for a fish thali is a bit too much. I would've given it a 5 star if the dish would've been somewhere around 550-600/-. Strongly recommended for all the seafood lovers.
