Cute and unassuming place but my soy flat white was on point. Kumara rosti and French toast were delicious and came out quickly. Played a game of chess there. Just a really top quality breakfast experience.

Wholesome, tasty, reasonably priced food. I recommend it in preference to the more upmarket, trendy, expensive version across the road. Pleasant environment. Staff are friendly.
The only criticism is that staff can have an aloof manner - but that is a NZ disease - NZers don't 'serve' easily.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast on our road trip and was happily surprised! The garden area was so beautiful and the server was very kind and friendly! Next time I am in Thames I will be back! P.s. I loved the chess board!

Had a lovely lunch. Cafe was busy. Beef hotpot and fish hotpot were both delicious. Coffee was good and hot. We will eat here again.
