Da Antonio

We celebrated my son's birthday and decided to dine Italian and so pleased at this intimate spot in Tenafly. Our server April was fantastic. A restaurant could only be proud of such a wonderful addition to their staff. She made you feel at home. Her expertise and service made all the difference in this small atmosphere. The food was excellent with generous portions along with the desserts. Antonio who is the chef/owner came over to introduce himself as we ate his delicious bread. We dine out each week but this was special and so rare to find the old world charm of hospitality.

Wonderful continental restaurant in downtown Tenafly. Excellent food, friendly and timely service. When time permits, Antonio, the owner/chef takes the time to personally greet you, makes sure you are satisfied, and that you feel at home. Early evening Prix Fixe menu several days a week includes a nice choice of appetizers, a wide choice of entrees, and a choice of several desserts. My favorite is the Veal Saltimbocca, while my wife has often opted for the Seafood Risotto. In our experience, you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. Da Antonio is one of our favorite restaurants because of the wide variety and quality of well-prepared authentic meals, and the friendly atmosphere. It’s a BYOB restaurant, with plenty of street parking, and an owner and staff that goes out of their way to please.

I have been to Da Antonio several times. Each time I have gone, the food keeps getting better! The service is great and the waiters are sweet. Da Antonio has a great ambiance along with a fantastic menu. It is family friendly with a semi casual dress code. Parking is easy and the deserts are delightful. I highly recommend Da Antonio if you are craving authentic Italian food.

The food is delicious. Really great quality and its BYOB. They do have some wines there in case you forget. They are getting 4 stars because the service can be slow there at times. I've only seen 2 people working in the front and a third will come from the back to help. But if you're okay with some slower service for some excellent food, then definitely check this place out.

My wife and I have been regular diners at Zestt for quite a while. The food is outstanding, the ambience is great and the owner, Antonio, is extraordinary. We always greatly enjoy our visits to Zestt. We consider it to be so good that we recently hosted a party in the restaurant. I cannot say enough superlatives about how wonderful the party was. Antonio and staff made sure that all the guests had an unforgettable experience.............the food, the service and atmosphere were very special. Great for a dinner or a party. I do not hesitate to highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone.

Da Antonio, an Italian restaurant in Tenafly, took over the space that was Zesst. I was really looking forward to eating here, because the reviews were very positive. We thought the food was okay, but the service was wonderful... accommodating...friendly. I ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil. Unfortunately, I could not taste the garlic. I sent it back to have more garlic added. It came back tasting the same way. Return trip here will not happen. BYOB.
