Subway

This Subway location doesn't accept coupons- which is why it didn't get 5*. I think they should have a sign up near their front window so people know before entering. We had coupons & it was the main reason we chose to have lunch here ; This store located in Taunton MA, same plaza with BJs, medical office, dollar tree. The food is always good, fresh, but with $ tight and gas prices up, all the Subway stores should be honoring the coupons & that alone will make me think twice about coming back. Just off rtes 495 & 138. The coupons are short dated, so not likely to be used elsewhere. Almost like "false advertising " where you think you can use, then you get inside and 1st thing they tell you is "oh we don't accept any coupons at this location ". It does state that you can use them at accepted location, but they dont list them, dont give you a link to look up where you can find out where those locations are - So up to me, the customer to figure out where it can be used? This location might be the next business to go out of service, just saying.

The lady making the subs is extremely nice, the owners (especially the wife) are terrible. Very snobby, always act like you’re bothering them. Always hated going here but being across from my work it was convenient. Until I sat there waiting to pay with the owners wife starting at me while on the phone not checking me out. The lady that made the subs apologized twice for the wait and yet the owner just sat there infront of me on the phone only until I walked out with no lunch did she say she was ready to check me out now….. sorry, won’t be back. Maybe customer service just isn’t your thing.

The owner, and what I assume was his wife, were working the front(based on their attitudes I can tell why they can’t keep employees and have to work themselves). Not friendly and very passive aggressive for no apparent reason. The older man(owner) seems like a very angry, miserable man. Why do they run a business? They have no customer service ability- I’ll never go back, I don’t give money to bad people.

The owner and his wife are the most miserable people I’ve ever seen work in food service, literally every time I go in here he is fighting with a customer. His attitude is so uncalled for and he is always in a bad mood and hes always rude, to everyone. I have worked in food service before so I was empathetic the first few times but it happens every time I go in that it’s just unacceptable at this point how he treats people. He is genuinely so miserable that I think he honestly enjoys fighting with people, it seems to make him feel power over people i guess which is sad. Word of advice, if you don’t like your job then just quit because you’re just making everyone else’s life miserable. I cant even go to this location anymore because i cant stand his attitude. His wife isnt as bad as him, but they both seem to hate their jobs and dont have a problem showing it.

Never a great fan of this location. Half of the staff can only be described as incompetent. Wrong cheese, unorganized handling of multiple sandwiches. Coupons are hit and miss and no substitutions are allowed. Tried using a coupon that required a 21oz drink when i was purchasing a 30oz and was told it had to be 21oz...OK, i made sure to get extra refills on that. The best things about this place are food and physical location.
