Subway

I always go to this subway since it's the closest to where I live, staff are friendly and good people. Today was a little busy for them, preparing online orders, Uber orders, in-store orders and there's only two of them.They handled all of it efficiently, this team can work under stress and chaos. Good job!

I've been going to this subway for a decade and a half and honestly I have always been happy but in the last year it seems with more YOUNG employees that don't seem to understand customer service they won't get the five stars i would have given them. I'm not some grumpy old guy I'm a twenty plus years business owner that knows how things should be done. I'm also not saying that every young person that works there is a problem but the majority of them take NO pride in doing they're job. I went Saturday night after a long 13 hr day and wanted something other than a greasy burger. I came off the gandy bridge at 9:50 and caught the light, I pulled in to the parking lot and made eye contact as I parked with the employee inside. The open sign was lit up as i parked. It was 9:56, they close at ten. As i walked up to the door I noticed the open sign was turned off and they locked the door. Both young female employees looked right at me and ignored me. I left and decided to call so i could show a screenshot of the call showing it wasn't even ten yet. The young woman claimed the clock she looked at said it was ten! Kids these days don't look at clocks they look at their phone a hundred times a shift. Perfect example of how a poor employee can lose you a customer that has spent untold dollars over fifteen years. Jersey Mike's has better sandwiches and better employees at almost the same price. All done with subway from now on.
