Great bar in downtown Syracuse. They have trivia night on Thursdays which is always fun and their dinner options are solid (one of the best cheese pizzas around). I’d recommend mixed drinks or bottles over beer on tap as the taps sometimes feel a little off on my favorites. That might be my taste though. Definitely 5 stars.

Maxwells hosted our corporate party last week and we could NOT be happier with how it all turned out. The planning process with Maria, day pf event set-up help, food, staff, everything was 10/10. Our whole company had so much fun and really enjoyed having the party in this great space and taking advantage of the outdoor patio. Thank you to the whole Maxwell's team :) We will be back!!!

Held our daughter's baby shower at Maxwell's today and it was excellent from start to finish. Working with Maria ahead of time was a huge help, Pete did a great job with the food and the management on the day of was outstanding. Most impressive was the incredible hard work by Gabby setting up, serving during, and cleaning up after - an incredible hard worker which is so hard to find! Great work ethic! Atmosphere was great - but the people were the best to work with. Recommend it highly for your event!! Thanks for a great day!

I had my bridal shower at Maxwells private event space and it was better than I could’ve imagined. Maria and the team were so kind and they made sure everything went smoothly. We had a brunch bridal shower and the food was absolutely amazing. I now recommend maxwells to everyone looking for a place for a private event!!

Maria just hosted our rehearsal dinner 7/15/22 and it was WONDERFUL. The food was amazing, staff was engaged, music playlist and ambiance were great. Maria thought of everything, decorating the blackboard with our names. My MIL requested dessert options about a week before the event and Maria took care of supplying a variety. I can’t say enough great things!! I just wish I had thought to take pictures of the food to share here.

Hosted a Retirement Party here for my Husband. I was floored!! Maria and her staff are hands down amazing!! They were super attentive and made sure everyone was happy. I have hosted hundreds of events at venues all over NY, working with this team was the best experience!! Every guest raved about the food, the drinks, the people, space and energy! 🤗😘🔥 Next time you're thinking about hosting a graduation party, birthday, rehearsal dinner, religious ceremony or anything that floats your boat consider Maxwells!! You won't be disappointed!!

Well if you want to have a truly amazing, comfortable, inviting, delicious brunch for your daughter’s bridal shower…….pick Maxwells. Marie addressed ever single one of our requests with pleasure and complete professionalism. She was attentive the minute we walked in and atmosphere was just lovely. The event area was clean, beautifully decorated an smelled impeccably clean. And then there’s Gabby. What a doll. She and Marie single handedly managed the shower with ease and perfection. Marie is a lovely, kind, compassionate, artistic woman who clearly knows her craft. The food was the best! The perfect mixture of breakfast and lunch. Outstanding!!!!! Most of all our daughter and her fiancé’ were so happy with the entire event. So stop in, talk to Marie, book an event and you won’t be disappointed. Even the pouring rain didn’t put a damper on the day, And, Marie even gave my husband an umbrella! Thank you Marie and staff. We will remember the day with a happy heart! 💜Darlene Strodel
