Empire Buffet

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Empire Buffet with my fiancé, Jamey, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed, and our dining adventure began. We sipped on refreshing sodas as we explored the extensive buffet spread. We indulged in a variety of dishes, and it's hard to pick favourites when everything was so delicious. But the chicken wings, General Tso Chicken, and the Lo Mein stood out as exceptional. For Jamey, the crab legs and buttery crab meat were an absolute highlight. What made our visit even more enjoyable was the attentive service. Our waitress was consistently on top of clearing our used plates and ensuring our drinks remained fresh. It's the little things like these that enhance the overall dining experience. Empire Buffet left us with the feeling that we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a delectable Chinese buffet with great service, this is definitely the place to be!

I met some friends here for the first time for lunch right at noon. I enjoyed my experience. I liked the diversity of people and servers there. I heard Madeiran, Cantonese, Fuzhou, and even some Thai and Korean. I brought my 80+ yr old dad back the next week and here really enjoyed it. He commented that it was the smiling servers that made him feel welcomed. We both enjoyed the food and how hot and fresh it was. We came for lunch at 11:30am. I will be returning.

It's a buffet so it's what you would expect from a Chinese food buffet experience. It isn't the best but it isn't so terrible either. There's some non Chinese options like Pizza 🍕 and Buffalo wings. I recommend because every person with their unique likes will find something. The servers are really fast swapping out your old dishes and bring you your drinks. It's decently clean and overall pleasant.

Very good! I remember when this location used to be Old Country Buffet when I was a kid. Then it closed and me and the family never came back to this area. Since I’m big fan of Chinese buffets as an adult, we were in the area and decided to try this place out. It was a blast from the past coming back to this area and seeing how it changed. And how the Old Country Buffet turned into Empire Buffet. And it was great! I come from the Watertown area and our Chinese buffet selection while tasty is quite slim in comparison. Syracuse has the better buffets, which includes Empire, Flames and of course Golden Corral. The selection at Empire is par for the course when it comes to Chinese food stables like beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, lo mein, fried rice, but also a pretty good sized sushi bar and chicken on stick and of course wings. Lots to pick from and all of it was very good. It’s bitter sweet coming back here after so many years and seeing it all changed but I’m happy my experience was positive and I left stuffed and happy. Overall very good!

Good food, and amazing staff. The hostess seated us very quickly, and the waitress was so attentive! She quickly re-filled our drinks and took our plates. They were both so sweet. The food was great! It was very flavorful, and everything that was supposed to be warm was warm, and everything that was supposed to be cold was cold. I loved that they had ice cream. You don't see that at many buffets anymore! It was also very clean. The tables, seats, silverware, and cups were spotless. The plates were still warm from coming out of the dishwasher when I went up to get my food. Overall, it's a great buffet! They also sell beautiful earrings, claw clips, and watches at the front register.
