The Sun Inn

Excellent food!! We came here for a family 50th party tonight. Great function room, with plenty of tables and seating. There was a great dj and roomy dance area, with doors leading out to a vast garden, with further seating and shelter. What I was super impressed with was the food. The presentation and quality was outstanding for a buffet. Excellent service and efficiency. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The added benefit of a very large free car park for events or get togethers make this pub overall a great place to spend time for lunch, dinner of functions.

Just been in the sun for lunch lovely food freshly cooked. I was served by a a young gentleman called Sam he couldn't do enough for me and my wife, It's lovely to find a nice young well spoken kind and helpful young man it was nice to come into somewhere where the staff looked after you. We did not stay in the hotel but dropped in for lunch. They were really great on gluten free food. I often have problems with contamination and they just said that they take gluten free very seriously and they were right! Not to mention we got big plates with lovely steak and lamb chops that were tasty and really good portions. A lucky find.

Late booking for meal with friends as looking for somewhere with music as well. Altho busy when we arrived we where welcomed , then shown to our table in the conservatory at the back. Not too busy in there. Good choice of food on menu , we had a vegetarian and vegan choices as well. Food came quickly and was hot and tasty. We all finished our meals so definitely went down well. Stayed and chatted went thro to listen to band on and off between chatting. Great pub, good food , friendly staff.
