Frankly, I was looking forward to writing this review almost instantly when visiting Peppina with my family for the first time.
The ambience is semi casual, but is still the type of place you can enjoy a bottle of wine and spend some time. The restaurant is cozy but very good for social distancing and other safety measures. The staff were friendly and attentive (but not overbearing), with a good sense of humour.
And now figuratively and literally, the main course. The food was fresh, delicious, exciting and sat well in the stomach as a good Italian meal should. The veggie sharing platter was perfect for a group of four and had a great variety of nibbles.
Could not make a single complaint. Happy to welcome business like this to the area.

Wonderful little restaurant. Food was outstanding, the place was spotlessly clean and the staff were wonderful. 100% highly recommended! Also dog friendly!

Tasty ice cream open late. A casual venue with a range of interesting flavors of ice cream and sorbet including vegan options. Great for a pudding after dinner in town. The range of pizza and pasta dishes looks nice but I have not sampled these. Good coffee and a bar. Freeing staff.

A little authentic Sicilian haven in crowded touristy Swanage - we fled the crowds in here with a grumpy three-year-old and six-week-old and they were absolutely lovely. Short, good quality menu of pizza and fresh pasta, some exciting gelato flavours, and we strongly recommend the pistachio latte! We also rated the Sicilian milk pudding for dessert. There is a more extensive menu including antipasti served in the evening.
