Fresh Wasabi

This place was spectacular! :) The quality of the fish is the best I've seen in ages. It's hard to find a decent place for sushi for good prices on this side is town but this place will definitely be my go to now! They have happy hour 3pm to close so you can get crazy good high quality sushi for so cheap.

This place is a gem in Suprise! We moved to the area last year and spent months trying to find a sushi place that we actually enjoyed. The owner now knows us when we come in and takes the time to say hi. It is our favorite place to eat, both dining in and carrying out. This is a quiet, clean, and friendly environment that the whole family enjoys. Best sushi around, hands down.

Our favorite sushi in Surprise! The chef takes pride in what he makes and ensures to make your order right. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We have never had to wait to get served, and the prices are excellent. Thank you, we will be back! *edit* Made another trip back and had amazing sushi yet again. I included a few photos this time.

Brilliant and gifted Chef. The finest quality ingredients. Superb presentation. Varied and innovative menu. Excellent wait staff. The list goes on. Fresh Wasabi provides a consistent culinary odyssey that always delights. I am a seasoned traveler, a foodie, and a good cook so I have a discerning palate. I rank Fresh Wasabi as one of my favorite Asian restaurants that surpass even those highly rated in San Francisco, NYC, Tokyo and Seoul. If you enjoy something special that is anything but tiring, please try Fresh Wasabi. You will not be disappointed.

Best sashimi I have had in a long time, and Kevin is a great chef. This location is under new ownership so if you have been here before then, try them now. If you haven't, and you are looking for a great place to eat, this is your place. Much better than Uni which has gone downhill in my opinion. Try the fresh hand chopped wasabi, a real treat!

First visit since the new owners have taken over, and I must say things have improved by the dozens. The quality and presentation of the food is quite exquisite now. They are 110% hospitable, and extremely attentive to their guests. I usually get the salmon teriyaki, and before under previous ownership, it was nothing special. Now they serve it in a hot ceramic dish with delicious veggies, I was astonished! Definitely recommend coming through here, especially during happy hour ;)

Went in there the other night to try it out for the first time with my boyfriend and was extremely happy. I’m from California and very picky about sushi in AZ. Had plenty of rolls an sashimi, everything was great but the 7 sensation roll was amazing!!!, we sat at the sushi bar and had lots of questions, Kevin the owner was very helpful an happy to answer and gave us many recommendations. Will definitely return!!!!
