Subway

Apathetic staff, borderline mistreatment of customers. Been here 3 times, observed same individual - Alex? I think - just being rude and talking down to customers. What prompted this review was I observed him talking down to an elderly lady that was clearly hard of hearing, she was simply misunderstanding the rapid fire questions the associate was firing at her. Basically you can tell they've been employed there too long and feel like they can do whatever/say whatever they want to customers.

I have had good food there but went to the restroom and a Subway employee was using the handicap stall. I waited for him to finish rolled my chair in there and he had left toilet paper hanging out of the bowl and all over the seat. Also left the bathroom without washing his hands. He will not make my sandwich anymore.

I walked in and ordered my sandwich at 3:15pm, everything seemed fine. Then I asked her to toast it when she didn't offer. She huffed over to the toaster and tossed my sandwich in. Then huffed back to the veggies to start taking out the empty buckets and replacing them with already stocked buckets. Except she yanked the empties out and slammed the full ones in. Then she huffed back over to the toaster to wait. She walked back to the counter and asked what veggies I wanted she started applying toppings neatly. Then when she asked me what sauce I would like, she couldn't hear me. Not sure if it was the loud radio playing over the speakers or what, but I was on my tip toes practically shouting SWEET ONION PLEASE. She said "finally" very loudly and started talking to her coworker who had just walked in. The guy was much nicer. Sorry for making you so your job. Also, flies were everywhere.

Just thought my daughter and I would kill two birds with one stone again, by stopping for dinner at this Subway, inside the Superior, WI. Wal Mart store! Since it was dinner time, and we also had some light shopping to do! We've done this together numerous times over the years! We always enjoyed the quantity and quality of Subways healthy sandwiches! However, tonight is was very disappointing! While our sandwiches were being made, I couldn't help but notice that the quantity of meat they were putting inside the little rectangular cardboard boxes, to heat in the microwave, wasn't even half full, yet alone full! As normal! (I usually order the same sandwiches every time) Then when it came to our veggies, I had to ask them to keep adding each veggie TWICE! So I finally asked, what's the deal? Are you guys short on your inventory, or what's going on? The Subway employee stated that their boss instructed them to cut back on the toppings! Especially the tomatoes, bcuz there's such a shortage of them coming in! I always preferred Subway over their competition, simply because their sandwiches are bigger, more filling, more toppings, and still fresh! We try to eat healthy, but I also expect to get what I pay for! If this is the case, I wouldn't have ordered something for that price, if I knew I was only entitled to half! I feel if they're going to cut back on the product, the prices should also! Or at least put up a sign, explaining the situation!

Getting subs for myself has been fine but ordering kids meals for my son the past 3 times they have charged me for his drink, which they charge me extra for a 20 oz soft drink, my son doesn't even like pop. I've confronted the employee about this but he was bound and determined that it's not included with his meal. I think these kids need to learn what is and isn't included with the meal when I've paid more than I should on several occasions! It clearly states it's included.
