Huddle House

Took 45 minutes to get complete order. Had 3 people in cooking area - main cook had no head covering and no mask. Ordered breakfast with eggs over light, well done bacon , grits and toast. My grandson ordered a burger and fries. My breakfast sat up on shelf till they cooked his burger. Got mine - eggs well done, bacon RAW in middle, grits so watered down a fork couldn't be used and toast was buttered but not melted. All of my meal was cold. He got his fries after his burger about 10 minutes later. Sent my breakfast back and waited another 15 minutes. Waitress apologized several times and even offered to cook it again herself but mgr wouldn't let her. We were the only people in the place so no excuse of being busy. After that trip I realize why people were going to McD's across the street.

6/18/19 was the first time that I have ever been to ANY Huddle House. The menu had a lot of great items on it. They even serve Chili! The breakast was good. Their country gravy is very delicious. You won't go wrong ordering any item with the white country gravy poured over it. Our waitress and the other staff of the restaurant seemed to be "withit." *Attentive There was a section of the restaurant blocked off. No worries, though: some of the flooring tile in the area was coming apart. I will be a frequent patron. Thank you, Huddle House in Sunset for good food and a welcoming ambiance.

Excellent service, excellent social distancing,correct mask wearing, hand sanitizer available. The food was great, served promptly, hot and cooked correctly. The Carmel pecan pancake was absolutely to die for. The hash brown with onions and cheese, onions were cooked perfectly, hashbrowns was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside,huge portion.. My friend had a wonderful biscuit with sausage gravy. The gravy actually had flavor, wasn't chunky and too thick, nor too thin. It was one of the better sausage gravy for biscuits I have had out. The biscuit was soft and tender. The scrambled egg was cooked to perfection, not runny, not hard or rubbery.. our server was pleasant, was quick, but not too quick and she had at least 6 tables she was serving, all 3-6 people.it was very clean and overall an excellent experience

Friendly staff but website ordering didn't work, my son got 18 tater tots for $3.50 and macaroni soup. Literally the worst EVER. The hot food was cold despite me standing there waiting. Except the brownie for the ice cream, that was hot but we put it in the freezer. Hash browns were soggy, egg not cooked thoroughly, okay for toast and waffle. Not impressed and not coming back but at least the staff was nice?? Looked like the waitress had to cook and the gas station clerk had to wait tables...
