Five Guys

Something changed recently at this location. I order large fries regularly online to bring home with dinner. Last two orders, VERY disappointed. Fries are not ready when I get there and need to wait despite my using online “I’m Here” feature. Was told that in person orders are priority and online orders get prepared afterwards. Makes no sense to me that it takes 45 minutes to produce an order of large fries. Also, when I finally get the order after waiting extra 30 minutes, the amount of fries is exactly one large cup. No extra fries as per usual. Previous large fry orders was like 6 servings. Girl at the counter gave me attitude when I questioned her about the 45 minute wait and small amount of fries for my large order. Went home to cold dinner and my order of fries barely satisfied 3 servings. Bad experience overall.

I ordered online. I was told that my order would be ready at 12:57 PM. I got there at 1 PM. The order was not ready. The young man delivering orders did not explain why the order was not ready. 15 minutes later he placed my order on the counter. I was short a milk shake. I was told the girl at the register was the only one making shakes. When sh became took 28 minutes to get my order. My burgers and fries wervailable i asked about my shake. She became indignant and objected to the tone of my inquiry. I talked to the manager Janet. She explained they were short handed and had a bag log of orders. The young lady making shakes made several for other people and finally told me mine was on the counter.

It's a five guys. If you like five guys then this is a great location. Lots of parking, decent amount of seating, kept very clean, and the staff are great. Only reason I rate 4 instead of 5 is the price. I personally dont see the burgers/hotdogs as worth their cost. Sure they're pretty good but I believe they're overpriced for what you get. The fries on the other hand they give you waaaaay more per serving than you'd expect. I'd go to 5 guys to split a large cajun fries and a drink and just hangout for a while. But dont expect to get a meal for less than $10 and likely closer to $15-20.

We have always loved coming to Five Guys. It is our staple go-to when we want to have a lazy weekend brunch without spending an arm and a leg for a decent burger ! It gets more interesting to me while I get immersed in shelling the peanuts while the better half goes about gathering all the sauces and drinks. Then we catch up on the stuff we missed out during the week, while munching the peanuts and we wait for our order# to be called. Once our order is served, we almost immediately go into silent mode enjoying the crispy fries and the most amazing burger that one can get at such a low price. We have never left dissatisfied from this place! And we will be back for more, very very soon!
