Nom Burger

So yummy! We've been coming here for a fancier burger for many years now and it always hits the spot. My favorite is the holy guacamole and California love one but they are all great! I'm also a huge fan of their shakes. Currently they are open for outdoor seating only and you need to order at the counter. They will bring your order in to go boxes to you.

Excellent gourmet hamburger restaurant serving a variety of hamburger and sides. Also has local craft beer on tap although the selection is a little limited. Ample outside seating, parking, and conveniently located in downtown Sunnyvale. Only removed a star for the limited selection of alcohol, customer service was average, and price was somewhat high. Overall great experience. In depth review follows: [The Food] The food here is great. If you are only concerned with trying hamburgers, this place is excellent. I would compare this to The Counter in San Jose, or any other upscale hamburger establishment. They have great hamburgers, they make the bread in the restaurant, and the meat is cooked to perfection! They have local IPA craft beer on tap. [The Location and Vibe] This restaurant is located in downtown Sunnyvale which is recently renovated. It's about 2 blocks away from Murphy Avenue, Whole Foods, Target, and others. It's a safe area, plenty of parking, beautiful parks nearby. The outdoor seating here is nice because you can sit outside and look out into the park. After eating, it's nice to walk downtown and burn some of those calories. [Customer Service and the Building] During COVID 19, this is a self service establishment where you place the order at the counter. They then bring the food to you in disposable containers (-1 for the environment) but I understand. The building, bathroom, and tables were clean! Staff was friendly. Overall, this restaurant is worth going to for the food! It's quick and a nice place to visit on a Saturday afternoon.

Great burgers nice and fatty full of flavor! The brioche bread is also on point! I enjoyed all of their fry options and the California Love burger! The crab fries were probably my favorite fries and the crab burger was a limited time option but definitely a great choice if they ever offer it again! I'd definitely come back here!

This is a tasty burger. I thought it was too small the first time I got this but I'm satisfied every time I get this. It's cooked perfect every time. It's flavorful and juicy and just perfect. Love the gruyere cheese choice. I also love the regular fries with the cragged exterior and nice fluffy interior. They stay crisp when you take them to go and I really can appreciate that in the current covid world. The house made ketchup is great and not something I expected to like. It's a touch pricey but the quality is there. One of best burgers in the bay. Online ordering on their website is a breeze and saves fees for you and the restaurant.

Great burger (had the #dateggdoe burger) for $15, no regrets there. Tasty and delicious. There's an egg that's fried into cheese in there! Definitely on the high side of burger pricing, but worth it. My fiance had the taro chip nachos, which we were both very happy with for $9 (big portions on these). It seems that they make their buns in-house from scratch and you can watch while they do it (see pic). No complaints about the service. Atmosphere was very clean and modern. Will come back again!

I've been lagging on this one just a wee bit... This is pre SIP experience...so we actually got to dine-in and enjoy our meal...so many moons...err months ago. Moons would actually work too in this case. Nom Burger was one of the last spots open before the mandatory County / State lockdown. We literally went there the weekend before everything got shut down. Social distancing wasn't the norm at this point in time, but we didn't have anything to worry about since there was barley any out and about. I think there was one person at the bar, a family of 4 showed up and when we were leaving a couple stopped in. The inside of the venue is chic and modern with a rustic minimalist look. The menu looks like its printed on recycled paper with a font that resembles had writing. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, no complaints with the service although one of the Burgers took a bit longer to come out. On to the Foodie life: ~ Pinwheels - 4/5 These are basically fries in a different shape. Tasty and seasoned well. ~ Fully Loaded Tater Tots - 5/5 No disappointment here WHATSOEVER! The picture perfect definition of FULLY LOADED. A generous helping of perfectly done Tater Tots topped off with Sour Cream, Spring Onions and Cheese! Yes please!! ~ Holay Guacamolay - 4/5 Portions don't look impressive, but the the Burger itself is actually hearty and filling. Tasty, dense cooked to exact specifications. Bravo! I can't wait to return and try the rest of the items on the menu.
