We had my wife's birthday here and it was a terrific night. The food is authentic Italian by Italians! The staff were brilliant and Davide the barman is very knowledgeable and great at making cocktails. Definitely recommend so much so we've booked Christmas lunch here

What a fabulous place. Bottle of wine & food was excellent, not rushed but just right. Decided to finish wine & have coffee on a comfy seat with a taxi booked.. Will be back thank you guys xx

Everything was great, you must go if you like the look of the menu as you will not be disappointed. Friendly, informative staff when describing special cocktails, wine and food. The extra detail about the specials was such a nice touch and really sold the main course to me. Could not fault and will be back.

Amazing evening on Saturday as a party of 8. Cocktails were fantastic, sitting outside next to the fire pit. Great outlook over the river. Food, Wine and Service by all staff was second to none. Will definitely be back ... hopefully for the tasting menu this time.

Fantastic lunch today in Knowledge. Lovely freshly made pasta with delicious meatballs, the tomatoes sauce was to die far . Starters was fresh grilled squid , straight from the fish quay in Sunderland. All washed down with a bottle of red wine. The prices are excellent and the service exceptional.

What a lovely place with a lovely view. Haven't been down the east end for years. Much improved area. Restaurant is lovely, food excellent as is the service. Not sure about music mind! Will definitely go again. In fact will investigate other places down there.

One of my new favourites! The food I've had so far has been amazing and the views are beautiful overlooking the river. Definitely worth a try!

The service was excellent the menu extensive. The cocktails were excellent. The food cooked just perfectly. I asked for gluten free pasta and was cooked to perfection.
Our whole meal was very tasty and not expensive.
Was good to speak to people who came from parts of Italy we have visited.

Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant in Sunderland overlooking the River Wear. We had cocktails on the balcony with great river views. Cocktail menu is extensive and exciting - I had my first burnt orange Serena! We were served by Caterina who was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. She made excellent recommendations for both my cocktail and my main course. The food is delicious. We will definitely return!
