Over The Wall

We had the best time having dinner here! First, we were so warmly welcomed by the wait staff and bartender & they were even able to make a custom mezcal marg for my husband upon request! We got dumplings, tacos, and a ramen bowl and couldn't have been happier with the service or taste! Everything was delicious, fresh, and unique. This restaraunt adds a much needed break from Stowe cuisine's traditional burgers and pizza with their unique mash up of Mexican and Asian food. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I are up from Delaware skiing and we saw that Over the Wall had Taco Tuesday and we decided to go there for dinner after skiing Sugarbush. I had 3 different tacos and 4 of the Crab Beignets. I had a Korean style taco, Banh Mi, with crispy pork belly, and it was delicious. I also had a sweet chili fried shrimp, which was also delicious. My 3rd taco was smoked brisket and I thought it was just ok, not enough smoky flavor and spicing for me, although my wife had 2 brisket tacos, saved 1 because it was buy 2 get one free, and she thought they were good, not great! The crab beignets were very light, hot, and tasty! We were served by Sean , who did a great job and was very attentive! We also had a couple of tequila drinks that were very good! They have a varied and interesting menu , the interior is very nice, and I would certainly come back and try other dishes here!

You need to try this place, it’s that good. Hands down one of THE best places to go in Stowe. You will be amazed how good the food is! The chef is an artist combining Latin and Asian flavors. You are in for a real treat. Best food and drinks in Stowe! Cocktails that are out of this world paired with food that blows your mind. Wow.

My girlfriend and I visited Over the Wall on our way back from south central Vermont, heading to the Champlain valley. They were one of the few places open that was also seating in a very challenging COVID-19 environment. We were both super pleased with our experience there. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. They’d done a nice job with setting up the restaurant to allow for proper distancing, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Very tasty. The reduction of the 5th star is only due to our disappointment about the options on the menu. The website showcases an incredible array of fusion options, however, due to many covid-related restrictions, the actual menu was substantially smaller. Still...it was a great dinner and we’d be happy to go again. Hopefully, they’d have the whole menu available again.
