Rusty Nail Stage

I was there to see a jazz band, Progger, during the jazz festival in town. The band was decent but there wasn't enough seating and I left after 3 songs mainly because it was WAY TOO LOUD. It's too small a space for that much volume and bass. It was so loud I couldn't really hear the the intricacies of the music which is what you go to see jazz for. I won't be back unless it's an acoustic show.

Saw gang of thieves to ring in 2019. Awesome place full of new friends. Didn't feel like your typical venue, it was much more friendly and open from the patrons to the staff. If you haven't seen gang of thieves you should! Tres Amigos also provided champagne & balloons. What I liked: Decor, clean bathrooms and general facilities, friendly and outgoing staff, nice atmosphere. What could be better: the water tastes like salt, the women's bathroom has a really weird sound coming from the air vents and chips & salsa or any snacks aren't available once the kitchen is closed so bring your own...

Great music on New years eve, but keep reading.. Their could be more seating. The female bartenders were beyond rude, and It's shocking to me that they have not been let go, the snippy, can't be bothered, way in which they answered questions, was astonishing to me. I had a great night until about an hour past midnight, fantastic bands, great acoustics, fun atmosphere, balloon drop at midnight.. A good time. I went to walk down into the "pit" where people are able to dance, in front of the stage area. The first step was visible, the second, not so much, very dark, no signage, not lit at all down below, and I fell, resulting in a bad sprain, an air cast and crutches. Except for a few stage lights It's a very dark room, that for safety purposes, could have been lighted, and rather inexpensively at that. Being fully sobor, I simply did not see the second step, and fell foward, I was seen by a medic about an hour after the accident. The ower/manager was simply trying to get rid of me, telling the police in the report, that "A girl will not leave" Leaving out the bit that I was unable to walk, and any movement at all, was causing me great pain. I would never go back, they put on a good show, but seem extremely unprofessional in other ways. The safety of those within the walls of the business, should be their very first concern, and it is, in my experience very low on their list. Please watch your step if you go to a show at night. I saw one other girl trip and fall, and it was noted afterwords by other "regulars" that it's not uncommon for people to trip on that step. Lots of room for improvement. Also, it is "Rusty nail bar and grill" Which suggests to me that food is available. When I inquired about food earlier in the night, the female bartender was extremely rude in her responce, (Again, not the most professional establishment) Apparently it has been quite some time since they have offered food, no further explanation was given, but if I had to guess, the chef likely quit and has not been replaced. Pita chips and Hummus are as far as you will get here. Eat before hand, and be careful on that step!!
