The environment was nice but it was a of chilly inside. The server was great and accommodating. We did have higher expectations for the food so I was somewhat disappointed especially for the price charged, hence the 4 stars. I had the Rigatoni alla Vodka and it needed a better balance between red and creme sauce..I suggest more red sauce would improve taste. I was in a party of eight, and I did taste the spaghetti with garlicky red sauce and that was the best plate at the table.

Location is good and the restaurant is very cozy. Waitstaff was excellent. The prices were reasonable and the food was very tasty. The homemade bread was delicious. Only negative was that 2 of the 4 entrees came to the table as only warm. So timing of the cooking was off. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Certainly would consider eating there again

Salute is a great restaurant. The food is delicious with many options, including lots of vegetarian dishes. The staff are all very friendly and the ambiance is warm and cozy with a modern flair. I was able to make same day reservations for Sunday, but advanced reservations are highly recommended for Thursday-Saturday.

This is my favorite restaurant in Stowe; we stay in Stowe 1 week per year. I always ♥ go to this restaurant. Great Italian food menu with wide price range. We always eat on the covered patio that has very attractive perennial flowers surrounding it and twinkle lights in covering that add atmosphere.

First time at Salute for myself and my date. I searched for a real Italian restaurant in central Vermont and Salute is it. She had the salmon, I veal marsala. Both were excellent. Staff is so friendly. Chase our server was outstanding. Ambiance is charming and our fireplace seating was nice.
We'll definitely be back.

There are a number of reasons to visit this amazing restaurant: 1) the extensive menu is only outshined by the fantastic taste (ask for the garlic bread!); 2) the service was exceptional and accommodating; 3) the owners are just great people - hands down. While waiting for our ride in 20 degree weather, we were welcomed back inside to keep warm and treated like family; and 4) Romeo and Juliet (the owner’s pups) were just too cute. A big thank you to Salute!

We had the pleasure of being waited on by Mason. Fried mozzarella, lollipop lambchop apps were on point along with warm table bread. The wife got the pappardelle and I got 20oz ribeye. Both were delicious!!! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!🤠
