Sheetz

This Sheetz usually has the cheapest gas in the area! It's well-stocked and has clean bathrooms, as Sheetz locations usually do. This one is located near the intersection of Sterling Rd. and Loudoun County Dvwy., which is convenient and inconvenient at the same time: convenient because of the major intersection for commuters and nearby Walmart visitors, but inconvenient due to limited access back on the road if you're turning left. This is why I give this location four stars and not five. To make a left on Loudoun County Dvwy., you must turn left onto Yardly Ridge Rd. and then another left onto Arcola Mills Rd., where you can finally make the left turn you want to! (I found this out the hard way by turning right onto Loudoun County Dvwy. (that's all you can do at the light) only to have to drive all the way to rt. 50 to make a u-turn to go the direction I wanted (I wanted to return to Sterling Rd., but all other roads restricted u-turns)).

On my way to Sai Temple I passes a Sheetz in Arcola for $3.55 a gallon when Ashburn was $3.86 so on my way back I stopped off to fill my car. Inside was large with many folks buying lunch. Seemed a good place for gas however the air pressure gauge, while free, was not working so had to go to another station for air.

This is a fairly new sheetz. They have everything! Even a place to sit down and eat outside the store but still inside the building. I saw a handful of young people hanging out there late at night chowing down on some food. Nice to know they have a place to go that's safe and warm and away from trouble!
