King's Arms Diner

I've been going to this place since the 1970s. It is a staple of Staten Island And one of the best places to get fast and friendly service and wonderful food. I recently went here for Easter and had myself a very lovelyDinner with my wife. They have excellent service And the owners are really sweet. This is my favorite place to go for breakfast

We had a great dining experience! We came once in the evening and a couple times in the morning. Waitresses and waiters are attentive and friendly. The food was delicious - My fiance ordered the Chicken salad sandwich. It was huge serving - but she enjoyed it. I ordered the spinach omelette with home fries! I think their Home Fries are one of the best on the island! Clean bathrooms and low music playing in background was a relax vibe.

Boy I hate to give 3star ratings...but sometimes I can do no more. Kings Arms sis a lovely place..the look was a bit deceiving sadly. We ordered 3 sandwiches and a lox benedict. The Benedict was good and the fries very crispy. From there the order went downhill. A bbq burger arrived with no bbq sauce. A philly cheesesteak arrived ad the steak wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese. The final blow was a Taylor Ham sandwich arrived as a turkey sandwich. Now to be fair he said it was yummy but..... The waitresswas nice but very unconcerned, not even enough to bring a check. When some of the problems were pointed out to the manager when she asked she apologized and took the taylor ham off the bill. In all honestly the prices were high enough that more should be expected.

Stopped for brunch with my son yesterday. Found the food was not appealing to the eye . Found the food bland. Server was good . But Found my experience when leaving cold from the young lady at register no thank you or good bye.... very cold. And there was an older man who rudely barged through me and my son to greet some one at the door. I hate to even speculate what vibe I received 😒.
