The Udon Noodle soup is my favorite!
I went to every sushi restaurant in State College and Maki Yaki was 2nd best. I like the Salmon Roll + Spicy Tuna Roll.
I didn't like the Chicken Teriyaki.

Ordered from here many times, sushi is mostly good but customer service OOF! We ordered sushi for takeout and when we received our order, we didn’t get the full rolls that we ordered (ie only 6 pieces vs 8, only 10 pieces vs 12). Woman on the phone INSISTED we were lying, kept being combative, requested I text photo evidence— fought with us about those too, and then finally said she’d file a complaint with Grubhub and I’d have to deal with them if I wanted a refund. Disrespectful, rude, combative, stand offish. What even? Who the hell goes through the trouble of waiting dang near an hour for luke warm takeout just to call and lie about missing food?! So... yeah if they get it right they’re good but god forbid they get it wrong.

My all time favorite place to eat in State College. The owners are extremely friendly and will cater to your every need. The teriyaki? Incredible. The sushi? Amazing. Have yet to taste a dish from Maki Yaki that I did not thoroughly enjoy. What more could you ask for?

The quality of the ingredients are definitely top. The teriyaki dishes, whether rice or noodle base, will not disappoint. Some of their Korean dish options are worth trying out too. They're willing to work with you to make sure your dish fits your needs.

Went there yesterday with my friend. Didn't have any real expectations. Got the combo of teriyaki chicken and Hawaiian Sunset sushi roll. Amazing flavors all around and we'll cooked chicken. Nice spot for some Asian fusion.

Their food isn't great since the chicken is always dry and to make it worse the delivery drivers are terrible. I had to stand outside waiting for the guy who happened to be on the car next to me. He didn't even bother to get out after I texted him to say I was standing there. He handed me my food through his window and acted like I was inconveniencing him. I made a complaint and the girl that answered the phone acted like I was wrong for thinking that he was extremely unprofessional. Not a quality business.

My preferred spot for quality Asian food. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. The bill was fair I would say. This place has many good reviews for a reason.

Wonderful little restaurant! It wasn't too crowded around lunchtime, partially because it's a bit out of view of other restaurants near Penn State. Food was delicious and the service was very friendly. To college students - THEY DELIVER TO YOUR DORM!
