Alibi Tavern

This is my favorite place to play pool in Springfield. The manager is great, the service is a little slow. Food is made and prepared by the lead bartender which is great. How ever it gets busy enough that it would be great to see a designated cook. The bartender would be able to serve more drinks faster and the food would be better. The pool tables are only $0.50 which is great. Some what well kept and many good players hang around late night. Pretty slow in comparison to other sports bars during the day. How ever there are more than enough to screens to see what ever game you want. Ask the friendly bartenders for which ever channel you need. Very family oriented, there’s a handful of very faithful regulars.

I had gone to another location a couple of times as tire pressure in one tire was always way lower than other 3. That store just kept pumping up tire. I was heading to friends on Main St, when car flashed warning again, so I pulled in. The crew took my car to the bay and determined that I had a nail in my tire. Lesson: don't just air it, see WHY!!! Thank you, Schwabs on Main for finding the root of the problem!!!!

I would not even give this place one star! We were waiting for service at the bar for almost 45 minutes. We seen people walk up and get served right away. Stephanie was the bartender that night. A fight started outside then they closed all tabs and shut it down early. We walked out without any service and definitely wont be going back.

Watering hole for locals/regulars. If you're from out of town, this is not the place. Was there for maybe 30 minutes; one of few places that closes at 2:30am. Saw 4 fights almost take place. Saw the cook who was off duty go behind the bar while the bartender stepped away to get himself a drink. Beer on tap was not good. Tasted flat. For having new ownership, this bar is not run well. Lucky to get two stars. One for the bartender, she was good and professional. One for the 2:30am (or later) closing time.

Great little sports bar, the owners have made many changes to their establishment. In the few months I’ve frequented this location, the tables have been replaced. The bar has been given a face lift very recently, and the pool tables are in great shape. Lots of talented and competitive players, are regularly surrounding the tables here. There is a poker tournament on Friday’s which starts at 1900 (7pm). They have also just hired a dedicated cook. Allowing the bartenders to provide better service to all their patrons.
