Chinese Express

I was excited to see a Chinese food place that offered delivery near me! The food is good(what I've had), the price is decent, but the wait time for delivery is horrendous. When the delivery driver finally arrived I casually asked if they are usually pretty busy for lunch. They said no not really. So I don't know why I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to get my small order. When I opened my order I saw they didn't add green peppers like I asked but they charged me $1 for it anyway. Also the egg rolls from this order taste like they had freezer burn. Kinda bummed.

Good prices, large portions and excellent flavors. It's a casual take out place. Sure it has a bullet hole or two, but how is it the owner's fault that some road rager has poor aim. Very large selection and the staff was friendly to my whole group. Restrooms we're clean and everything functioned properly. Everyone needs to get off their high-horse and enjoy a meal here.

My favorite no-frills Asian take-out places in town. Great food, friendly service. Price is as good as or slightly less than other similar establishments. Usually the service at the drive-thru is reasonably quick, but have had to wait as long as 20 minutes before (which is kind of ridiculous no more business than they had). In the last year, I've ordered here 30-50 times and only once was the order missing any food. They have a few seats to dine in, but essentially this is a take-out or delivery restaurant. I don't live in town, so I've never ordered food to be delivered.

My friend told me about Chinese Express tonight because I wanted some good Chinese delivered. I spent 60$!!! I almost had a coronary! 60$! What was I getting for 60$?! They told me 45 to 55 minutes was the wait time. Well I just want to say they have my business! They arrived in 15 minutes and the portions were enormous! I bought 1 cashew chicken and 4 general chickens with 5 fried rice. I thought the portions were going to be small. I was so wrong! This place is amazing!

I had my food delivered and the delivery guy was nice and funny but the food was awful... the chicken was hard and tasted old and the cashews were shriveled up and like rocks. The cashew sauce tastes old and was not like I expected. I called and politely complained and she said she could give me 15% off my next visit and that was it. I told her she could come get what I hadn't eaten and refund me for the chicken and the sauce because I was not happy with it and she said that was all she could do. Horrible food and poor management

Food was delicious! Delivery took long (45 mins), but it was a Friday night and we had a large order. I highly recommend this place for the native Springfield cashew chicken connesuier. Definitely will be reordering again. Update 1/18/17 - ordered General chicken and if you miss Mandarin Inn's recipe, this is nearly identical!

The staff was rude. When we finally got our food after 20 minutes, we tried to eat it, but were distracted by the stray bullet holes in the wall to our left. The sauce tasted like it was straight out of a great value bottle and the lady who was working cursed loudly multiple times. Do not bring children here as they will be scarred for life. I would much rather eat leftovers off the ground.

Ok so I had to call 3 times 30 minutes apart to get someone but was put on hold for 10 minutes so she could finish another order ended call at 12.... then almost 2 hours later food! the young girl said they messed up the food and had to remake it. She couldn't use the card reader so I let her in to call them and give the card info over the phone then asked if I wanted to put a tip on it... I did but only because its not her fault this place is so bad. In the end they didn't get my egg rolls. What a mess.
