Houlihan's

The restaurant is connected to a hotel so they are one of the few options for late night eating in the area. The food was ok, nothing special. Our order was mostly correct, except the buffalo chicken salad had no salad dressing. There are 6 TVs around the bar so you can catch almost any game you want.

I've liked everything I have had there do far. We signed up for the club to get specials and coupons, and they sent a free entree for my birthday month in October. That was a nice surprise! I like that happy hour is until 6:00 pm, so you can go at 5:30 and get a $4 appetizers, and a larger glass of wine for $7.

We went back for a re try after a not so good experience. What a difference a week makes. Tonight, the food was amazing, fresh, hot, and good presentation. Elizabeth was a great server, friendly, punctual, keeping those drinks full. The only thing was food took longer than anticipated, but it was GREAT. This experience was 100% better. I really think they were just having an off day.

Stellar service! Food was really good and our waitress was fantastic. We had a group of 12 that all arrived at different times and she made sure everyone had drinks and orders were taken for food as they arrived. She kept up with everything with a smile and helpful suggestions on personal favorites ,when some of us couldn't decide what we wanted. Two of the most talked about diahes were the meatloaf and the spicy shrimp and pasta. Definitely recommend!

I was staying in the hotel and stopped in for a bite. The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The food came out timely. I tried the $5 spot which is the same as happy hour. Tried the ahi tuna and lettuce wraps. It all tasted good. I have no complaints. I would recommend this restaurant.

I generally love Houlihan's, especially the pork dumplings and stuffed chicken dishes. This time the food was not as good as it normally is. Granted I normally go to the other location in Springfield, so maybe that had something to do with it. It was still ok. They were kind of busy when we went but we waited A LOT. Waited by the door to be seated before it was really busy, waited a while to meet our waitress, waited longer than normal for food, waited long periods of time in between being checked on, etc. There was also lots of yelling coming from the kitchen at various times. This experience left something to be desired, but was not the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

This stop was a blessing on our travels from Canada to Texas! After several "meh" meals, this one was what we really needed for a respite. The atmosphere was inviting - lighting was muted without being too dark/dimly lit. We all ordered from the lunch menu and got more food than each of us could finish! I ordered the two mini burgers with French fries and a potato side soup. The burgers had an incredible seared/grilled flavor, topped with ranch dressing, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes. It was delightful! The French fries were equally impressive - thicker cut (not wedge style) and crispy on the outside while being hot and tender on the inside! Perfection! And the soup - perfect blend of potato soup topped with bacon, chives, and cheese. It really was so much food for a lunch special, in my opinion. The server was friendly, pleasant, and accommodating for me (I walk with a cane), especially when I requested a booth after they were going to initially seat us at a table because of my legs. Would definitely return if ever in the area again. Just an FYI, the restaurant is attached to a hotel, so it might be difficult to gauge how busy they are from the outside. Also, it did appear that they had outdoor seating for when the seating is nice.
