White Castle

Went with 3 stars because I like White Castle. Had been driving for a while and since there's none by me planned to take my family in. Obviously others before and after me planned to eat in too, but the doors were locked. Used drive thru which was incredibly slow. Not sure why but it was. Sure wasn't because our food was hot and fresh. Love White Castle but open the lobby doors or make sure our food is hot if I'm expected to wait for it like we did.

This restaurant used to be great but....not anymore. My Lady made an order using coupons that stated buy 1 get 1 free. The counter person took the order totally wrong and gave us an incorrect order of food. We did not order what was given to us. My Lady tried to explain this to the Manager it was NOT well received. Instead this Manager she wanted my Lady to pay for another order instead of correcting the order that was given to the counter person initially. I was and am disappointed Greatly on how the Manager handled this situation it should have been handled better and Professionally..It was Not.

So, here's my experience. First of all, the service has went down. The wait time at the service box has increased at the box noticably since the summer. Even then though, it was rough getting them to remember your drink at the window. Also I remember getting food from them @ 1/2am in the morning. Now during the week, 11p, lights out. And for some reason, the food is not as quite as hot as I would like. Don't know why. And, I get it. Covid. Lack of staffing, kids in school, whatever but still... So I had taste for their onion petals. So I order a "sack" of them with my burgers. Get to the window and ask for packs of "zesty sauce". "Ummm, we're all out. Would you like some ketchup instead?" What???????? Why would you be out of a demand condiment? At a medium traffic location? That closes early?? Needless to say, I will be searching for other nearby locations to see if this is the new normal. But, not THIS one. Rte. 4/Kemper Rd.
