Pizza Ranch

The chicken is awesome but remember the price of chicken went up during the covid pandemic. Big companies like chils who don't normally offer wings did when they were closed. I was on the beach after the pandemic and wing prices were market price. So 6 wings were the same price or more than a pound of crab legs. Crazy

I placed an order yesterday, for a wrap. Asked no veggies, and seasoning on my ranch chips. My order came cold, and wrap had veggies. The driver was rude, every time he's delivered to me. I called and asked for a remake and I waited an hour for I thought would be my whole order, and just received my wrap when I asked for both wrap and chips remade. I'm not a happy customer.

Was not very happy that the manager would not accommodate my request of for child price due to a medical condition where I can only eat 4 oz. Of food she said the owner would not approve of it. I have never had this issue at an other Pizza Ranch location I have been to Fort Dodge, Storm Lake, Waterloo, Iowa City. And then another issues when the guy brought out more chicken he had no place to put the pan and just put it on top of the sneeze guard top. Can till the floors have also not been vacuumed. Food all on then and they just opened My family and I where the3 family to come in at 11 Am Saturday March 5th 2022.

Will never eat here again. The entire place was filthy and buffet consisted of 2 pizzas, cold fries, undercooked chicken and random vegetables. The salad bar area was dirty. The staff of teenagers stood around doing nothing. Manager stayed in his office even though the place was packed and customers complaining of lack of selection in $12 per person buffet. Do yourself a favor and do not go here

My husband and I have tried the Spencer Pizza Ranch many times and are never sure if we will get pizza or chicken or dessert pizza. It's a gamble. Today we went in with the after church crowd around 11:40. There was one pizza out on the buffet and no chicken, which is my husband's reason for choosing the restaurant. Behind us in line were 10-12 more people waiting to pay. When I asked the cashier if we would have to wait long for a fuller buffet, she assured us it was on its way. I could tell that she really didn't have a clue. We were not in a hurry so we did get fresh chicken. We never had a choice of pizzas until we were almost ready to leave. And I never saw a dessert pizza. Is it lack of training? Do the employees not understand the importance of keeping the buffet full? When one pizza goes out put two more in. They should be more prepared for the church crowd, etc. I know that employees are "trying their best" but raise the pay and hire more or something. Also, I have never seen a shift manager or general manager in the place. No direction for employees. I have worked in my share of restaurants so I know the pressure of a crowd, but a good employee that is well-trained should be able to respond quickly. After all, without good customer service, none of them would have the opportunity for employment.
