White Castle

I was really looking forward to this, because I have been hearing people for years say how much they loved White Castle burgers. The staff was real friendly and the packaging of the sliders was interesting and fun. The Strawberry Banana Smoothies were pretty yummy. However, we were amazed at how thin the meat was in the sliders, and their wafer-thin meat patties are made with five holes, to boot! The bun was good and the cheese not bad, but I can't figure out why anyone would want to go back ever again for burgers like that. I don't know if they greatly shrunk their patties recently, or if I am missing some taste buds that have impressed my friends through the years. I am usually pretty easy to please.

1:30 am I was in line for over 20 mins. Ordered a #1 with cheese, onion rings instead of fries and a 5 piece mozzarella stick. When I finally get to the window two people are standing there confused and asked my order again. I tell them. They hand me a bag and ask if I want sauce? I say yes for my mozzarella sticks. The older more experienced person says it's already in the bag. I say thank you and look in the bag and see fries. I tell them I asked for onion rings and I have fries. She said it's fine and I had marinara sauce in the bag. I get home...no mozzarella sticks. Just burgers and fries with onion rings. Fries I never wanted and missing $6 worth of cheese sticks. I was very upset 😡

I have been here a few times. Each time I go they have an issue with the credit card machine at the drive thru. Which makes every transaction very long. So expect a very long wait even if the line is short. Also check your order before leaving because you can't go inside if they mess up because the dining room is locked. Which means you'll end up back at the drive thru line if you have the patience to wait. Good luck.

Respectfully, I don't get the holdup. I gave them an hour in advance through an online order. Every visit, I found myself waiting for at least a half-hour. I give them the order number, but they'd prefer to go by name yet they still mix my order up with someone elses. I try to save gas by going inside, and of course, all the doors are locked.

Absolutely horrible, waited 25+ min in the drive through. Drove away because I was about to run out of diesel fuel, got to the gas station and took a bite just to realize the sliders barely looked edible and felt sick to my stomach by the time I got back on the highway. First and last time I ever go to a White Castle, thanks a lot guys.

This White Castle is a true definition of "people only show up for the check". The young staff working here are horrible and ghetto. They talk over you, and get the order wrong. The food is rushed and not put together neatly. The fries aren't crispy, salted, or presentable. I come to this location every time I'm in Jersey, but I'll have to find a new location because this isn't it.
