Panera Bread

Decided to try the catering service to get some soup for a birthday party. I’ve done my last business with Panera due to the complete lack of value. I paid $40 for what amounted to about 4-5 bowls of soup. I caution anyone thinking they can feed people at a party with the portions the Panera catering packages offer. I don’t blame the people that work there but do blame the profit monger corporation that owns it. Sorry, your soup is good, but not nearly that good.

The old location about 30 seconds away from this new one was miles better than this. The new one is way too open and you have no privacy in the lack of comfortable seating along with mediocre food made for a terrible experience not to mention when the cashier told me the total I nearly crapped my pants and blue to the moon with how expensive the food is now

Stopped in to the Smithfield, RI Panera for lunch after visiting the Wicked Tulips Flower Farm. The staff was very friendly and our order was prepared swiftly. The food was sandwiches we had were delicious and the broccoli cheddar soup was tasty as always! Perfect Sunday lunch on a rainy day after visiting the tulip farm!

What's missing from the bottom corner slice of my cheese 🍕? The cheese. Where did that one slice's cheese go? Good question. I don't know either. Cold as a brick too, didn't take much time to pick it up or get home either. Oh well... Deserves 2.5 stars really. Underwhelming. New location can't fix that. Prices have skyrocketed as well I've noticed. Won't be back for a while. Over 10 bucks for their sandwiches? You're better off elsewhere, especially since quality isn't a priority at this location, which (before the move) I've been going to for a decade.

Cashier seemed to be inexperienced. He had issues taking my order. I ordered a Mediterranean Bowl and then proceeded to wait for 40 minutes before my order was ready. I asked the server if I should have ordered ahead of time and she said "oh we're really busy tonight". Not too many people in the establishment. Apparently they are understaffed or under trained. I will not be spending another dime at this Panera located in the Crossing in Smithfield Ri
