I am so very very very sad that this place closed. First, it was the one on 7th north... now this one :-(. It's hard to pass up a fresh, hot Papa Burger, fresh fries, and some ice cold fresh-from-the-tap root beer. The owner is awesome and knows how to treat customers. Very little of that is lost through the staff as well. I'm usually greeted right away and customer service far exceeds most other fast food places. I can't think of a time over the past few years where there has been more than one dirty table in the dining room... even when it's busy. The restrooms are almost always clean. The (screen of the) faucet in the men's room needs to be replaced. Places like this and service like this is hard to come by and it's always sad to see this go. The only solace provided is that I was able to get one of the very last gallons of root beer produced here. I will truly miss it. Thank you for keeping the nostalgia alive over the years! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife and granddaughter. It was not yet busy so we hurried and ordered. The customer service was great. Our food came quickly and was hot! Thank you! The food was great! Before leaving we decided we needed ice cream. It took over twenty minutes to make two shakes and one ice cream cone. Our food came faster than that. That's the reason for the four star.

A&W has always been a favorite of mine. Surprisingly, I only liked their food more after working there. The on-tap rootbeer is always wonderful, they have the best corn dogs, and use quality ingredients for their burgers. I think their main shortcoming is the same as any other fast-food restaurant, and that's a fairly high employee turnover rate. Naturally there are some employees who don't make the sandwiches as nicely than others, or who forget to repeat my order back to me at the drive-thru and miss something. As a whole, however, my experience with A&W has been great, and it still offers higher quality food and service than most fast-food restaurants I've eaten at. Besides, I love the oldies music they play.

This was basically the perfect fast food experience. Restaurant was clean (and they had someone going around to sweep the floors, so it was no accident) the food was hot and tasty and well composed, and the on-tap root beer sweet and delicious. Excellent job, we'll be back! BTW, I highly recommend the papa sauce - so good!

We have yet to be disappointed with the yummy food here! The burgers, cheese curds, freezes, flats and ice cream are always big hits at our house! They have some of the best fries around - no need for dip, unless you really want it. Everything is always hot and fresh, so there is sometimes a bit longer of a wait, but it's worth it!
