Worse Mexican food ever!!!! Please change your name to Louisiana Mexican food. You put my hometown El Paso to shame. We have real Mexican food in El Paso. I took one bite of everything I had on my plate. Tasted the salsa w one chip. Then the food was left there to be pick up by the waitress. My husband is Mexican. He barely ate his food too! If the salsa is not good, the food isn’t good either. And it was pretty salty as well.

I ordered grill chicken breast and grilled fresh veggies. If you are on LOW SALT diet tell them up front. It was extreme salty and both was NOT fresh off the grill. Veggies tasted twice salted and limp/mushy. Chicken almost too salty to eat but it WAS good, and tender. Sitting on PORCH, we saw waiter very little. El Paso Restaurant in Laplace, La is totally different. Next time, we will be sure NOT to sit on porch. was drafty. Food got cold fast while being nice sunny day in 70s Better service inside.

Working nearby, I opted to dine here for dinner before going back to my hotel. I found El Paso Mexican Grill to be an efficient place to eat. The food came very quickly. Not feeling ready for a large dinner I chose a single item dinner plate, on the other hand what better to review a Mexican restaurant with than a venerable “super burrito”? Corn chips came with dinner along with salsa and black bean dip. My dinner plate came quickly. I was not overwhelmed by the burrito. It had great flavors but was really just ground beef in a flour tortilla. The lettuce, tomato and sour cream and the rice in the side all combined to make it more than just that. And the environment was nice and very family oriented. I got a dos Equis amber beer which came in a frozen glass and was very good. Really hit the spot with the chips and beef. There are lots of other food items on the menu and I suggest you give them a try, should you dine here.
