Lawa Bintang

Take note, there are two coffee shops. One is a communal one with a variety of stalls and the other is Lawa Bintang. The communal coffee shop is facing the road so you will see it first. Lawa Bintang is hidden on the left side of block the block (while facing the communal coffee shop). I thought I was in the wrong place. Due to the inclement weather, the place was empty baring two "makciks" talking at one of the tables. I headed to the counter and bought the nasi lemak lobster with fried drumstick and mineral water. SGD25.50. Waited for about 10-20 mins. Once the food arrived, I was shocked at the size of the lobster. I thought it was going to be huge but it is manageable in size. Note, my first time eating lobster so I do not have any idea how big or small it should be. I immediately mixed the rice with the sambal. The rice tasted different from other nasi lemak. Not as "lemak" but that's a good thing. Not overpowering. I dug into the lobster meat and it tasted creamy. More creamy than cheesy. Pleasant taste. Just nice for 1. 4 stars for it. The star of the show was the drumstick. It had the right amount of crunch and the seasoning was spot on. 5 stars for the drumstick. Highly recommended. Overall a satisfying meal.
