Nickledime Drafthouse

Place looks great.. Maybe I got a bad night, the waitress did say they were changing the menu. I ordered the fish and chips with a small salad. Then told they don't have the salad. So I said I'm just after dinner greens, salad, veggies etc. I'm happy with anything..... Traveling with work and desperately in need of greens lol. She goes and come back and says they can't help. Really? You don't have anything in the kitchen resembling veggies or salad. Hmmmm. I should have left at that point. :( So I ordered the burger. How did that come with lettuce? Thankfully I'm not a big eater, this thing is tiny. Closer look and the pale lettuce was brown and the tomato not in good condition. Guess that's why it wasn't acceptable as a salad. The bacon had no crunch, I'm guessing cooked previously and reheated. Beer was interesting, unfortunately the taster I did four of the five where flat. I'm am optimists, I'm going to give it another try.

Absolutely loved this little cosy place. We stopped for a drink (beers are quite cheap during happy hours) but we'll definitely come back for brunch. It seems to be a bit busier on weekdays than during weekends - but if I was living nearby, I'd come here to work in the afternoon, the place is so quiet and nice. The staff is great too!
