Monster Curry

They close around 9:15pm-9:20pm. We arrived at 9:15 and there was a only Take-away option. We ordered Best of Both worlds, Salad-Big Fish with Wafu Daikon Dressing and Tori Karaage. Unfortunately, the dressing was missing for the salad. There was thick brown sauce so I used it but of course it was not for the salad. Could not eat it at all. Very disappointed. I insist you have to check inside before you take away.

This place serves very generous portions (the plate is 4X of an adult’s palm size!!!) and affordable katsu curry. A good dining option for families or teenagers. The set is the same price as the ala carte curry, and comes with soup, a drink and a scoop of ice cream, all for the low price of $13.80 (Pork/ Chicken Katsu Curry). You can customise the spiciness level of the curry by choosing the number of “flames”. The number of flames corresponds to the number of “hearts” they draw with the hot sauce. I found that 3 flames already gives a good kick for my taste buds. First time trying the Honey Toast after a few visits. The bread is toasted till really crispy, and has a nice level of sweetness. We ordered the matcha azuki bean flavour, which was delicious, but it would be nicer if they were more generous with the red beans. The matcha taste is also not really apparent, probably since they used Vanilla ice cream instead of Matcha ice cream. Overall still reasonably good.

The staff are both friendly and efficient, there was a small queue when we arrived, but were seated almost immediately. The food came very quickly after ordering, though we had hit the later part of lunch, where the crowd was beginning to die down. The portions are very generous, which is great if you're very hungry, otherwise, they're good to share. The food came hot and the karage was nice and crispy. Keep up the good work!

Always wanted to try their food but as I'm not a big eater and the curry rice looks too much for me alone thus no chance. Didn't know they actually got burger set and decided to try it since managed to get voucher via ChopeDeals. The pork katsu is not really oily and it's quite huge (almost as long as my palm) though the picture says otherwise. Curry sauce blend well with the meat and lucky not overwhelming. Fries is crispy and unlike those thin kind. More like MOS burger but with crispy crust. Definitely hope to come back to try other stuff with my family when the number of dine-in pax increased.
