I always meet here if I can to try and support local business - which they need more than ever since Costa moved in to Hillsborough. Since they had the re-frub it's prettier than ever. Very tasty coffees and cold drinks (like smoothies or fruit drinks) and great food options. It's all no frills and friendly, and I love that you can get anything from nice and simple crumpets or toast to paninis or something bigger. Always pleasant and the staff are friendly and don't rush you. Plus the view across the Malin-bridge tram turning and the bridge over the weir is great for people watching. My fave coffee shop in Hillsborough

Nice relaxed place, decent food, though not a lot of choice. Homemade cakes and biscuits are all lovely. Breastfeeding friendly, which is useful to know, but not very comfortable for breastfeeding as there are stools rather than chairs at some tables and its a bit open if you're a nervous feeder. Overall tho, it's a really nice place with friendly staff.
