Indian Chef

After a long day at work, I needed some Indian food to take care of me. Happy to have gone to Indian Chef at Crookes, to get a taste of Chicken Biriyani. The host Shivani was quick to give suggestions and the chef was also mindful to ask for my preferred style of Biriyani! The meal itself was extremely good and the portion size enough for one person. I could request to pack the remaining and eat it later! My wait time was very short, between 5-10mins. The ambience is very good! Proper lighting and off course Indian music to cater to your other senses. Very happy with my experience and would love to go in again and try other items from the menu.

First time coming to this lovely restaurant. Ate here this evening and enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere, brilliant and friendly service and delicious food. It all tasted so fresh and flavourful. We will definitely be back. Our waitress Shivi was wonderful! She was so attentive and gave us great recommendations for our meal. Lovely night out. Thanks!

Amazing food and service. Shevani (sorry I’m not 100% about the spelling) was amazing with our toddler, Elizabeth. The food came out quickly, everything was delicious. I would highly recommend the mixed kebab starter and the Chicken Bhuna. We had a fantastic time tonight for my partners Birthday. The food was cheaper than we were expecting. The restaurant could absolutely get away with charging a little more. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Extremely happy with our restaurant choice tonight. It is well worth walking up from Broomhill. Beautiful food, full of taste, spiced up to request. Our choice was Duck (don't remember name) from chef's specials menu - first time I seen a duck option in Indian restaurant and it was delicious, Tandoori Mixed Grill - all tender and delish, mushroom rice full of mushrooms 😀 Big portions, took some away as did not manage to finish and hate to waste good food. Fast service, very polite and smilly. Brought our own beer and canned drink from nearby coop, so zero issue here, soft drinks available at restaurant. Definitely will be back for more as there is a huge choice on the menu.

The food we had was absolutely delicious , lovey the chicken madras the depth of flavour is outstanding , as for the garlic naan so light & crispy could eat one on it own , wife’s chicken sagg was also very good same chef for 10 years was told , bring your own drinks or even call at the ball opposite and carry couple of drinks across the road they don’t mind 😋😋😋 Not been for a while food was still as good but was very cold in the restaurant having to eat with your coat on not very nice .
