Great small town Diner. I had BBQ rib special and there was enough leftover to make a couple of pulled pork sandwiches the next day. Place seems to have a decent amount of loyal regulars. Waitress called them by name and some didn't even have to order, she knew what they wanted.

First off, you can smell the delicious food in the parking lot. Walking in is whole vibe, I feel right at home, everyone knows each others name! The waitresses are the sweetest, a amazing grandma and granddaughter duo. It’s the cutest Americana cafe! Hospitality and service are beyond expectation, feels like everyone is family. The food not only looked yummy, it was yummy and hot! Came out in a timely manner too! Definitely one of my favorites for dinning in or take out, good portions for a great price, love love love Donovan's Homeplate cafe and have do recommend stopping in! It’s a whole experience. Great place to stop in Shawano, WI.

So glad I found this spot!! Great food, the owners are amazing! Free coffee with my meal! I will be a regular here :-) So happy they opened up! Simply the best!
