Simcha Restaurant

Dined outside with a large group of people (18) on a mid-afternoon in the autumn of 2021. Superb food and service. Israeli-inspired food. Enjoyed all the dishes that were on the special group menu. We paid $50 per person for the meal, taxes and tips included. I would expect the price to be higher in 2022 or beyond. The restaurant owner was very personable and spent time introducing the meal attendees to the dishes. The owner also had cookbooks available for purchase and he happily signed them for anyone who asked.

Simcha is one of the most exciting new restaurants in the Boston area. Every dish is even better than the last. My recommendation is to get one of everything (and maybe even two of each dessert 😉). Our entire experience was fantastic, with an attentive and friendly staff, a beautiful and clean dining room, a mesmerizing open kitchen with an awesome pita oven and most importantly delicious food. Our only complaint was that the table wasn't big enough to fit all of the incredible food! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a tasty and fun night out!

We got contactless takeout which I'm grateful for since many restaurants have given this up. We got a bunch of items to share with three adults and it was plenty. The burnt ends were our favorite. We loved the smokey flavor in the babaghanoush. Not sure if the eggplant absorbs it well but it was better smoked than most meats I've had. There really was not a dish we didn't like!
