The New Maverick Cafe

We have eaten there for times. The food has always been very good. You receive allot of food for the price you pay. Normally the service is very good. I not sure why but this time the service was not good. We ordered two fish sandwiches with one of them no lettuce. They served both fish sandwiches with only the bun and fish. We had to ask them for silverware. The waitress only brought us out food, brought back the tomatoes and lettuce, them brought us our ticket.

When we walked in the stench was so bad we considered immediately leaving and we should've trusted our instincts. When we ordered our drinks we asked for tea with lemon and they said there were lemon packets right there and God knows how long they were there. When I went to the bathroom it was dirty and the toilet didn't flush. The servings were so small that me and my grandma had to share and the meal still didn't last 5 minutes. The food was so bad I could go home and make a better hamburger than they did and in less time. I will never recommend this place even to my worst enemy do not come here.

It was 7:30 at night. Ordered a bacon wrapped chopped beef dinner. It smelled and tasted rotten. My wife and I asked for a member of the management. It was explained to us that the manager had left and would not return until closing time. In the mean time, my wife and I decided to leave the meal on the table and leave the building. Another employee screamed at us on the way to our vehicle, saying, You're barred from coming into this establishment. The employee appeared to be of high school age. My wife and I have frequented the business before and have never been treated with such disrespect. I understand that everyone has a right to make a living, but not when endangering the health of the public. We did leave our contact information for the management to call us. No response as of now.

The restaurant itself was filthy. My toddler and I used the restroom and when we came out a customer was yelling and cursing. The entire kitchen staff came out to attempt to calm the situation down with little success. It was scary for my daughter who is only 2. We left as quick as we could and will not be back.
