Bessels Green

We have been here a few times, the food is exceptional and good sized servings. The place is divided up into sections so it does not feel massive and yet there are lots of cosy places to sit, drink and chat whilst you wonder what to have from the menu. Would I go again? Certainly it's easy to get to and does not disappoint.

I think this is the best pub I have ever been to! The staff are amazing and very kind, the food I can’t even begin to say how amazing it is, it looks amazing and tastes amazing.The menu is very easy to read to offers a lot, the building it beautiful and amazingly decorated also the outside is amazing offering a lot of room for children and pets. It is very traditional the staff are very warm and welcoming.10/10👍

Came here Monday to celebrate our sons birthday. We hired one of the huts, which was dressed beautifully - very boujee. It made the whole celebration more personal and special. Even though we were outside the service was great and there was even a button to order more drinks and food when needed. Staff really friendly and attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great day. We had a big table, plus an extra one as more people came, which was not a problem as the staff were very accommodating. All courses came out as they should, with no one waiting for their meal. Always a hard task with a big table. The food was great, presented beautifully, very tasty and enjoyed by all. I had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection. It was delicious!! Thanks Kings Head team for a great afternoon.

Well cooked Veg can be a good measure of a kitchen and these were superb. In fact, all the food was fabulous. My roast chicken tasted wonderful with hints of lemon and garlic. The chef knows his stuff. And the guys that served us were terrific too. We’ll be back. Driven past the pub hundreds of times and never realised how good it was!!
