Singing Kettle

We visited the cafe twice, once for full English breakfasts and then for lunch another day. All the food was fresh, hot and very tasty. The cafe has a nice, classic feel and really friendly service, a good selection of meals and being dog friendly was perfect for us. Will happily go again and might have to try their cakes...

I had a delicious lunch here while spending some time in Settle before my train. And what a brilliant find. A really good and fantastic value menu covering everything you would expect from a cafe and more, plus a specials board of delightful freshly cooked meals. The customer service was fantastic. I was sweaty and weatherbeaten and the dog a bit muddy, but we were welcomed in. There were quite a few regulars in who the staff knew by name, but regulars and visitors alike received the best customer service. My jacket potato with cheese and beans was delicious. I will be sure to be back if in Settle again.

The best breakfast I’ve had in years! I had the vegan breakfast, which was piping hot and absolutely delicious (great portion size too!) My dad’s healthy breakfast was also perfect! The owners are so friendly and accommodating- could not ask for more! We came a few days ago and had soup and cake - all amazing too!!

A delightful find with a friendly atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Pets and children (neither were ours!) equally welcome. The downstairs room was quite small - but don’t be put off if it seems full - there are more tables upstairs. There’s no sign saying this, so it’s well worth asking. The basic menu was great, and reasonably priced. It was supplemented by a specials board. The kitchen was happy to make small changes to meals (for instance to make the ploughman’s lunch vegetarian). The food was quickly served after ordering, and tasted delightful. Access to toilets was upstairs so beware of this if you have mobility difficulties or other individual needs. I would thoroughly recommend this market place cafe, and look forward to returning.
