This place is cozy atmosphere, nice staff, and very very delicious. The portions are small, so there's lots of opportunity to try many of their apps. I even got the hamachi crudo a second time because it was so tasty. Try the "weight of dreams" drink!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the capital hill area. I love how cozy it feels and slick, clean, and stylish it looks. The atmosphere is nothing but wonderful. If you are looking for a place to celebrate or have a romantic dinner then this is your place to be. They do offer excellent service, delicious food, and tasty drinks so don't be surprised when you cash out :) it will leave a dent in your wallet. If you don't want a set tasting menu you will need to ask for the bar area. They recently reopened after two years of Covid shutting down so go support them, folks.

Soooo good and tailored to seasonal food. Every item from the homemade butter in the bread service to the beet salad to our entrees of pasta and elk were 👌 just became my favorite restaurant in Seattle because every bite was amazing, the pricing was fair (not cheap, but not outrageous), and service was fantastic and friendly. Didn’t even take photos because I was just enjoying everything.

This place was one of the best restaurants I'd been to in my life in 2005. Hasn't been in 15 years until last week and I can confirm it is still one of the most incredible dining experiences you will ever have and is perhaps better now than it was back then. 6 stars!

My experience here was just lovely through and through. Every dish was impeccable. This is the kind of cooking where every element of a dish is well thought out and harmonizes with everything else. The first bite of everything was surprising! It was the kind of food that makes you happy while you eat it. I thought the value for the quality of the dishes was excellent. We tried the crab bisque, the wagyu bavette, the truffled crescenza pasta and the baked Alaska dessert. I would confidently recommend any of those dishes, but the pasta in particular stole my heart. Every bite was joyful, you could tell the pasta was fresh and homemade and the ingredients were so perfectly autumnal. Melissa’s service was excellent, and all the wait staff was extremely attentive and had great timing which is something I really appreciate. Drinks were stunning too. 10/10 no notes. I will be back. be back.

Dining out in Seattle is expensive in general. Lark was a perfect middle ground of well-executed dishes and value. We really enjoyed each dish here, great for a nice date night or an anniversary. The service was great too!

tl;dr Beautiful, fresh, inventive food that wasn't pretentious, heavy, or inconsistent. Somehow the service was even better. The food at Lark was excellent. I could write at length about how good it was, we tried several things from bread service (do not skip it) to cocktails, wine, apps, entrees and dessert, and every item we ordered was impressive. And that is rare. It's worth taking a moment to note and be grateful for. What is more rare, though, is dining at a restaurant where the service is amazing. The service we received last night from Melissa and her coworkers was incredible. I am so, so thankful. I was blown away. We didn't mention to Melissa that it was my last fine dining experience before I start chemo next week, she provided the best service we've had at any establishment in Seattle just because that's how she normally does her job. She was kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to talk to. She was present when we needed her but never hovered. She gave excellent menu suggestions and enhanced our experience without being in any way pushy. She was a lovely human and a really, really great server. Her coworkers seemed to be the same. They seemed to like one another a lot and they helped each other and that made the service even better. You don't see that often and it's why I wrote this review. We're unfortunately going to be spending a lot of time in this part of town this coming year. We won't be able to eat at Lark but I can't wait to try Slab -- we'll be doing that often. We will be coming back to Lark to celebrate, though, hopefully sooner than later. Thank you to Lark, and specifically to Melissa, for an amazing meal and an even better memory.

My wife and I visited the restaurant on Valentine's Day. Every dish we tried was among the top three in Seattle, in my opinion. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, which exceeded our expectations. However, the service did not match the same level of excellence as the food and the price.

If you’re looking for a fancy date night or for a place to take your out-of-town parents to dinner, Lark’s 4-course for $120 will definitely impress. Located in Capitol Hill, it’s a great excuse to glam up and enjoy the evening. As you walk in, you are invited to a ceiling of what seems like a sea of warm twinkling lights throughout the dining room next to the busy, yet quiet open kitchen. Lark’s monthly rotating dinner menu features locally-sourced ingredients that highlights the flavors from what the season has to offer. That’s when you know the menu won’t get boring and will reel you in to come back. From start to finish, Lark’s offering showcases an array of dishes bursting with flavors specifically the muscovy duck breast with acorn squash, duck pithivier, porcini jus, and dandelion. Chef’s kiss! It’s the perfect place to show your parents how much of an adult you are
