Came here expecting what MR mesquite usually has, without realizing this is a bar hopping type of restaurant. No where to sit, more of a street stand feel.
Unfortunately didn’t have the burrito options for this type of location so expect to only have TACO and QUESADILLA options. And I wasn’t offered corn tortillas, and I didn’t realize until my GF mom was about to eat a flour taco. So she just had to eat it bowl style with no tortillas.
Other than that the food was still good as always!!

Delicious steet tacos in Old Town. Day or night life, these tacos are 🔥. Simple and quick. Good size tacos grilled on mesquite briquettes for better flavor. Just a heads up, there is no seating as it's a walk-up window only. Best to eat om the go. Definitely worth a try.

Fresh, well seasoned, and authentic street food. Had basically their whole menu - steak and chicken tacos, mixed quesadilla, and chips & guacamole. Everything was amazing. Guacamole is thinner than what you normally expect but still spicy and good. Just don’t expect to be able to scoop it with the chips. It works as a great addition to the tacos.

Good tacos. I like the wood fire flavor that's infused into the meat. Pretty unique for a Taco to have that smoky flavor. The meat was a bit dry but again had great flavor. Got both the chicken and steak. Enjoyed them both equally. Loved all the toppings on it and the red saws was nice and spicy but very good. Would recommend a stop.

These tacos made my day. We went and ordered thrice. The taste was authentic . Nice and not too spicy and the sauces were so good. The veggies were so good. And I packed for our way to mesa. They also gave me free sweet nachos. The whole staff was so so sweet and generous. Don't miss out this real street taco in scootsdale.

Mesquite, the best value for The Real Deal on taco! Hands down delicious. They're fast, clean, lot's of options. The Chef's put love into the work and you can taste it in every bite. Yes, I've eaten here at least a couple dozen times and will be back a couple dozen more! Do you mouth a favor and show up! You will not be disappointed! This place was recommended to us by a friend. Wow they did not disappoint! We loved them. We tried the chicken and the steak. Both were great! We got there at a good time because afterwards the line was down the street.

Loved the smell just walking up to this little stand. I ordered 2 steak and 1 chicken in order to try both, and although I love carne asada tacos these chicken tacos are phenomenal. They are tender, moist, and have that smokiness from the flame grill. Being able to dress my own tacos is always a plus and the red sauce packs some good heat which was great! I was a little surprised at the higher price, compared to their website menu, but that was the ONLY negative of this visit.
