Mrs Lacy's Magnolia House

Our Church's youth group recently had lunch at Mrs Lacy's. We had a private room upstairs with a dedicated waitress. We had a party of 24. I had spoken to Mrs Faye (Owner) prior to event. Everything was set up upon our arrival just as we had discussed. She had teapots and teacups out for our 6 youngest youth (ages 4-8) They were able to have the beverage of choice in the teapot and they had their own little Tea party while the adults were able to have conversation and the teenagers enjoyed themselves as well. They have the best strawberry lemonade and strawberry shortcake. Everyone was nice and easy to deal with. This is an extremely busy place. They close at 2 so get there early. You can eat on the covered porch or inside.

Excellent food (I love the croissant chicken salad sandwich!) and this is the cutest setting. The waitresses are all the sweetest, always doing what they can to make sure you're happy. I highly recommend the apple crisp for dessert! Yummmmm! The desserts can be eaten in-house or they are ready made to take home in the cutest little jars!

A great place to have a special lunch, but any lunch here would feel special! Recognized by Our State magazine in 2007 as a "Might - Tea" fine tea room, it's sure to impress you too. Great sandwiches, sides, and soups. Don't forget to save room for dessert, because they definitely save their very best for last! It's very popular and for large groups calling ahead is definitely recommend.
