Pollo Campero

Visited this location and purchased the 12 pc family pack. When I received my order, noticed they gave me a wrong side. I had ordered the corn salad and they gave me the coleslaw. I though that was it until I got home which is more than 20 miles away. When I started to take everything out of the bag, noticed one box of chicken with 6 burnt grilled chicken pieces. They completely missed the other 6 pcs of fried chicken from my order. If you visit this location make sure to check your full order is given to you.

Drove from Downtown LA (60 miles) hungry to this location on the recommendation of 2 loyal fans. It was worth the drive. The smells of fresh pollo awaken your senses and makes your mouth water. The trays of pollo behind the counter heightens the expectation. Try the Platano and the beans are delicious. I got a 22 piece box and added 2 family size sides on top of the 4 that comes with the meal. The extra safety precautions were appreciated. The customer service was spot on and fast. I'm coming back.

Overall this is the pollo campero in the US were i've got the best service. The food was great, and unlike my bad experience at the pollo camperos in the Washington area, the staff was nice and helpful at this one. Considering today's inflation the prices werent bad. The wait for the food was a little long, but it is understandable as they were busy. The reason for the 4 stars was that there was a musty smell as you entered the store that it got worse as you got closer to the restrooms. Probably a ventilation issue. It also seemed like they were understaffed, because as we tried to grab a table none of the ones available were clean. It wasnt long before the lady in charge of if cleaned one for us, but it was obvious she was very busy.

Just received my order for myself and coworkers/supervisors and definitely embarrassed the fries were double fried every single fry was full of cooking oil like really we couldnt get fresh fries! Will never come back to this disgusting place i will make additional calls for this as well you are not supposed to double fry the fries its plain disgusting cookong oil dripping out of them.
