George's Burger

If you are in this area and eat Mcdonalds or JNB and not supporting a local business…..you are wrong Shipmate! This place is hands down the best burger for miles! And a drive through makes it just as easy as the other guys…actually easier because most people dont know how good Georges is!!! Not only was the food the best, the “counter personality” took my difficult order and nailed it first time! That kinda of attention you wont be receiving at the normal fast food joint! Oh…did i mention local business!!!

This location has always been a good one. The more mature ladies have always taken care of us like we were family. This last time we went there , we were served by youngsters and our order was mixed up. So instead of eating in with plates we just wound up taking our food home and rewarding it in the micro. It was Not the same. We'll try it again later.

Let’s be honest here…San Bernardino doesn’t have great places to eat so it doesn’t take much to impress people. On to the food at George’s…it’s just not good, but people think it is because what else is there in San Bernardino? Their burgers have always been dry, their steak sandwiches are dry, their salads aren’t fresh, and their chili is super oily. If I’m going to George’s, I prefer the G street location, but that’s just my preference. As of late, this particular location closes when they want to. The service is horrible and I will never patronize this business again. The only thing I bought from this location on an occasional basis was an order of zucchini, but I can do without it…so long George’s! If I want zucchini that bad, I’ll go to P&G burgers.

Their dinners are very substantial. One shrimp dinner is enough for three meals. I have been their twice now and they have gotten my orders right. Price wise, for the amount of food you get in the shrimp dinner, I think it's fair. The salad that comes with the dinner is a good size but the lettuce seems to be old. It does have pickles which I like. Ate the pickles and tossed the rest. Their tacos, I was not impressed with and won't order again. I ordered carne asada and cheese. The meat was dry and about a quarter of it was inedible and there was a few pieces of shredded cheese. Very over priced and just not good.
