Really nice place to have breakfast.
Staff very friendly and professional, menudo was good i loved the handmade corn tortillas. Very close to downtown i liked the area. Restaurant was busy that is good. Everything clean and well sanitized. The two young boys were very helpful and well organized.

Truly one of the best hole in the wall places I’ve ever uncovered.
I’ll spare you the story, but I highly suggest you try their food. If it’s early, go with the breakfast burrito. Probably the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had when considering overall value of food quality, quantity, and price. They even give you free chips and salsa to go with your order. Nobody does that. Enjoy and tell all your friends!

Love it every time I go here! My family chooses this place over all other options after a family get together. It's a small kitchen, so if you have a big group, expect a bit of a wait. It's worth it!

We came and stayed in Salinas since we attended California Roots Festival. My husband had been craving chillaquiles all weekend. So this morning we came a cross this cute lil Mexican restaurant called. Mama Lupitas. The food is absolutely amazing!! It made my husband want to move here lol we're from Washington! The service was also amazing we will definitely be back in the future for future California Roots Festivals!!

Only had a chance to try the breakfast burrito, but it was delicious. The home made taste of the tortilla, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and salsa was delightful to the palate. Very filling. Will be back to try more on the menu.
