Had dinner with friends after track day at Laguna. There is no parking, so need to find parking on the street, which is not easy on a Friday night. Food was delicious and there was a gentleman who serenades the customers periodically. Restaurant has a homey decor and food is reasonably priced and delicious.

Excellent outdoor dining. Middle patio or out front on Main Street. This place was hopping. Wait Staff was very attentive. Best soup roasted corn chowder it had a hint of spice, was creamy and the corn tasted fresh off the cob. I enjoyed the Greek salad with pasta, chicken, feta, bell peppers on top of green lettuce. The salad was dressed to perfection. Sitting outside was nice it was warm with a nice breeze. Will definitely go back to sample other items.

The place itself is really nice to walk around downtown area of Salinas but the best part was to eat... First, fried calamari and the a GREAT cheesecake for dessert. I also liked the welcome environment and smiles that made me feel at home. So, yes, I'll be back to try the chocolate truffle cake (with no flour?!)

Wanted to give a shout out to the excellent food and service at Portobello in Salinas. I walked in on Friday asking if they could help me with a last minute catering for 25 people on Saturday. I ordered several quiches and side salads and everything was ready within a couple of hours. Food was delicious and my event was a big hit! The good people who work there deserve huge kudos for their excellent service.

Came for appetizers and wine to kill time. We got buffalo wings which were normal and a chicken quesadilla that barely had any chicken. Service was okay not very tentative. We asked for a bottle of wine and just ended getting 2 glasses of wine. We didn't say anything because we were like I guess they don't want our money.

We had an excellent dine in experience on a Friday morning. We were greeted upon entering and the staff was quick to link us up with our party who had arrived earlier.
The coffee was great and the food to die for. Probably one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. Next time we go I’m going to be sure to try the outdoor seating. If you’re in Salinas, you gotta give them a visit.

Fish, steak and salad for dinner. All was great and had room for dessert. Seasoning on cod described as made from fresh ingredients right out of the garden, flavor was a good mach for the fish. Wife gave me a bite of the steak, tender and tasty.

originally we were supposed to go to azteca but the place didn't have enough space to accommodate a large group so we went with Portobello's. we were seated promptly with enough space for everyone. the food was delicious I got the hamburger w guac. servers were great just the food took a while understandably we were a large party to tend to. the ambient is nice too, not too loud just perfect for dining
