Eagle Chinese Restaurant

Super tasty Chinese takeout in Salinas! There are lots of fried/fast food in the area, and we wanted a meal with more vegetables. Eagle is a great place for that with large menu with many vegetable, noodle, rice, and meat options. The noodles have the desired flavor that only comes from a really hot wok. Highly recommend the broccoli with double mushroom for all the mushroom lovers. 🍄 The order was called in at the beginning of dinner time and took 20 minutes to prepare. Pros: large menu selection, friendly staff, great Chinese takeout (currently no dine-in due to covid-19) Cons: surrounding area is under construction (as of Sept 2020)

My family and I get takeout from Eagle about once a month. The food is always fresh and we love the owners. They know us well because we get the food so often. The are willing to accommodate you by adding or subtracting ingredients from a dish if you want them to. We pretty much feel that everything on the menu is a safe bet as long as it's what you're in the mood for. Food is always great, super fast service, and not too expensive.

Hard to find unless you live in the city. But the food is well worth it. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. For once the chicken was not burnt and crunchy it was tender. the combo fried rice was delicious with chicken, beef and shrimp. the hot and sour soup was not spicy hot thank goodness. it was bearable and rather good tasting.
