Denny's

Was trying to find a place for dinner and decided to stop here. They do allow seating indoor. I'm not sure where to start with this review. The interior of this restaurant is dated and could use a thorough cleaning. They were apparently short staffed because it took a while to be greeted and seated, even though there was only one other table of people there. The menu is rather limited, and they were out of several menu items. I chose nachos, thinking that would be a safe option, plus I wasn't very hungry. Bad decision. The nachos looked like someone had dumped hot dog chili on them. Oddly, didn't taste horrible. Overall, I would not recommend this establishment for any meal.

Great selection, wide variety. Food was good but not great. Hash browns were warm, obviously cooked, but not crispy. English Muffin was warm, not obviously toasted. Ham was good, and tasty, but dry. The little doughnuts were a bit too brown, making them dry as well. Service was good, server very nice and helpful.

My order came out quick and nicely done. My friend's not so much. She asked for a fruit bowl and plain wings but the wing order didn't get placed until we were ready to leave. We got them to go, but it was disappointing. The staff were very nice and polite. Just a little forgetful this time. The food was very good though, and we were both really pleased with the strawberry "hush puppies" especially.

The food was overall great, and our waitress was so friendly and patient considering the restaurant was packed during a snow storm. The female cook on the other hand, was extremely rude and talked bad about customers right in front of everyone saying “tell them to wait if they don’t want to wait, then they can just be mad,” and was being rude to the employees. She needs to be terminated, I’ve never seen a cook with the authority to speak to their employees and customers the way she did, bosses shouldn’t even be acting like that more less a cook.

I had gotten the grand slamwich it was good you know and I had also gotten the slam burger which was also good too. But we also got the strawberry vanilla crepe which I was completely dissatisfied with. There was no strawberries or strawberry sauce to be found on it and there was also some weird cloudy sauce that was on it and I have no clue what it is but all I know is that I didn’t ask for that and the fact that I had to look twice for what that was supposed to look like…

On April 15th I was very unsatisfied and will not return back. I put a mobile order in at 7:30pm and didn't get my food until 8:45pm. The waitress was more helpful towards me than the manager on duty. The manager on duty never came to speak with me even though the waitress told him he could come talk to me if he wanted. The cook was by himself and was trying hard to get the food out. I will say thank you to the waitress for her kindness and help. As for me I would not recommend anyone to go there.
