Epilogue Kitchen

My husband and I decided to stop by Epilogue today for a long overdue visit. While there the staff was incredible and made perfect drink recommendations (and I must say that the whiskey sour was in fact the best whiskey sour I have ever had!). Our starter of the parsnips was absolutely delicious and we loved the flavor of the mustard greens and garlic. We each order a sandwich, I got the Philly and he got a smash burger and both were on a GF waffle which is probably my new favorite way to have a gf sandwich EVER lol. We also ordered the oatmeal cookie and it was honestly the best oatmeal cookie I have ever had. Hands down the best meal we have had in salem to date. The staff was incredible and even though they were being barraged with hateful calls they handled them with grace and made sure their guest were well taken care of.

Great food, staff, environment, and owners. They had very distinct dishes that tasted familiar, yet unique. If not the food, the friendliness of the owners and staffs will win you over. Eating amazing food in an establishment is one thing, but eating amazing food in an environment that 1) promotes the safety of their guests 2) supports the communities they provide/aid for 3) and boldly and proudly call out the toxic members of our communities is worth all the stars. Thank you for making my grandma’s bday lunch special! If they have it, get the freaking Rabbit!

I made a 4 pm reservation. Honestly going as they were opening was amazing. It was mellow and quite. The server's were amazing. Both very friendly and nice. We started with cocktails and they were all hand made (my friend ordered a tequila sunrise- best ever). Old fashions for the rest of the table. We got crabby fries and the smoke platter as our apps. The fries were perfect. The salmon great! Our main was oxtails, rabbit, and a meatball sub. Portions were all amazing. The flavor great! I cannot recommend this enough. I look forward to future dining.
